The Reserve Bank of India has decided to withdraw the Rs 2000 denomination banknotes from circulation but they will continue to remain as legal tender.

The annual review workshop of the National Agriculture Higher Education Project (NAHEP)-Institutional Development Plan (IDP) was recently held at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Srinagar. The workshop reviewed the technical and financial progress of all the 22 IDP projects functioning in different State Agriculture and Central Agriculture Universities of the country.

The third meeting of the G20 Development Working Group (DWG) was held in Goa. The meeting is being held from May 8 to 11 and is being attended by G20 members, nine invited countries and more than 80 representatives of various international and regional organizations.
