PANCHKULA, 22 September: Congress candidate Chander Mohan today reiterated his commitment to bring a 100 bedded hospital at Barwala and complete Medical College and hospital project being proposed at Sector 32 in record time once elected. He extended heartiest congratulations to all the daughters on the occasion of International Daughters Day. I am really honoured to address you on this great day as our daughters are our future, said Chander Mohan on this occasion. He said that He is confident that our daughters will make all of us proud by studying in medical colleges and other such institutions we are proposing.
Again coming back to the issues of Panchkula, He accused BJP government for making big announcements and then neglecting the necessary follow up action. He said that an announcement for Medical College was made with much fan fare by then CM Manohar Lal Khattar but nothing much has been done on the ground. He assured that Medical College will be a reality with in months once his government comes to power. Addressing an impressive gathering at Maharana Sports Club Barwala, Chander Mohan said that taking affordable medical care to the remotest parts of Panchkula district has always been his priority. He said that BJP government has neglected the rural areas of Panchkula district and one can see the apathy of this government manifesting every where. There are no street lights, roads are in shambles, water supply is erratic and facilities like sewerage, storm water drainage are non existent in villages of Panchkula, Chander Mohan said. All these problems will become bad dreams of the past once I become your representative in Haryana Vidhan Sabha, he said.
He further said that people,not only of Panchkula district, but entire Haryana are fed up with misrule of last 10 years and have made their mind to bring Congress back. Taking the benefit of development to the last person in the queue and improving quality of life even in the remotest part of my constituency will always remain a passion with me, Chander Mohan reiterated once again at this function.
It was a hectic Sunday for this indefatigable leader of masses. Starting early in the morning, he attended more than 18 meetings and social gatherings till late in the night. He started his day with a meeting at Jain Sthanak at Sector 17, followed by an event at Barwala.
Apart from these functions Chander Mohan today attended a function organised by Brahaman Sabha at Sector 27 where prominent people of the community welcomed him and assured him of their full support. He also attended functions and meetings at Sector 10, 9, 21, 15 and 25 and met numerous people during these interactions. He was greeted with open arms at Chandi Kotla, Khadag Mangoli and HBC centre Sector 14 and Sector 26. People of all these areas assured him of vote and support.
