BJP Will Form Government in Delhi: Gyan Chand Gupta

09 January, 2025 09:10 PM

Karandeep-9 January: Gyan Chand Gupta, former Speaker of the Haryana Legislative Assembly, asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to form the next government in Delhi. He emphasized that the people of Delhi have now recognized the falsehoods spread by Arvind Kejriwal, and this time, they are determined to vote for change by supporting the BJP.

Gupta, who has been entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring BJP’s victory in the Model Town Assembly constituency, addressed the media in Panchkula after campaigning in Delhi for the last 11 days.

During the press interaction, Gupta accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of dishonesty, calling him a person who misleads the public. "Kejriwal had promised that as Chief Minister, he would neither use a government vehicle nor occupy a government residence. Yet, he not only broke these promises but indulged in luxuries far beyond those enjoyed by previous Chief Ministers. He spent crores of rupees turning his official residence into a grand palace," Gupta stated.

Gupta also pointed out the worsening conditions in Delhi, citing the growing piles of garbage, the deteriorating air quality, and the increasing pollution of the Yamuna River. He said, "The public has made up their mind to oust the corrupt Aam Aadmi Party from power. The people of Delhi are determined to bring the BJP into governance."

He expressed confidence in the growing enthusiasm among BJP workers and the public’s increasing support for the party. "Just as the people of Haryana and Maharashtra helped form BJP governments, the people of Delhi will also bring the BJP to power," he added.

Present at the event were BJP leaders Omprakash Devnagar, Councillor Jai Kaushik, Youth Wing President Yogendra Sharma, General Secretary Virender Rana, Vice Presidents Harendra Malik, Sandeep Yadav, Suresh Verma, Gautam Rana, Amit Gupta, among others.
