Chandigarh. Knowledge and Awareness Mapping Platform (KAMP) hosted a training session in association with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) along with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIR-CSIO).
This training session was organised On June 6th, 2024 at CSIR-CSIO in Chandigarh, in which more than 130 teachers took part. The prime theme of this program was 'Interactive Teaching Methods for Effective Skill Development', where the significance of STEAM education, robotics and AI in the educational landscape was highlighted.
On this event KAMP Project Director, Mr. Ashish Mittal introduced the KAMP-COE program for schools and presented detailed insight about its offerings. KAMP-COE program offers Robotics and AI labs, scientific excursions for students, workshops and teacher training programs.This event marked KAMP's eighth Continuous Professional Development program designed specifically for educators. CSIR-CSIO, Jigyasa program Coordinato, Dr. Pooja Devi also spoke about the CSIR- Jigyasa initiatives for students and schools.
Educators from leading CBSE and ICSE schools from Chandigarh and Punjab region participated in this session with full enthusiasm.
