Anu Modi - Mohali: The National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) Punjab Chapter, in collaboration with the Amity School of Business Administration, Amity University Punjab, successfully organised the Northern Regional Conference on the theme “Agile HR - Transforming Business in Digital Era, Leveraging Talent and Technology.”
The event, held on Saturday, addressed a critical need in today’s business environment: agility as a key competency for high-performing teams and its importance in driving organisational success. This conference provided an invaluable platform for industry leaders, corporate executives from prominent organizations such as PwC, Uniparts Group, HCL, Schneider Electric, and Mahindra, alongside academicians, researchers, and students, to engage in meaningful discussions about how a comprehensive approach to technology, talent, and processes can spur growth and innovation in the digital age.
The inaugural session was graced by several distinguished dignitaries, including Dr MH Raja, National President, NIPM the chief guest, Mr Ravinder Chadha, Chapter chairman NIPM; Mr SP Bansal, Regional Vice-President – North, NIPM Punjab, who participated in the opening ceremony. Prof RK Kohli, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Punjab, welcomed the attendees and provided valuable insights, which helped guide the event to its successful conclusion.
The conference featured five engaging sessions led by experts, each focusing on key aspects of HR in the digital era. Topics discussed included the future of HR and the importance of keeping pace with emerging trends, strategies for developing a resilient and future-ready workforce, enhancing employee experience through people analytics, the impact of new labour codes, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace culture. These discussions emphasised the need for businesses to embrace agility, adapt to new technological advancements, and prioritise diversity and inclusion to create a future-ready workforce.
