Brampton Makes Historic Investment in Local Non-Profits: $1.75 Million to Empower 159 Charities

Karandeep-Canada: The City of Brampton is stepping up its support for the community by investing a record-breaking $1.75 million into 159 local non-profits and charitable organizations through the 2025 Advance Brampton Fund (ABF). This year marks the largest allocation ever for the program, underscoring the city’s continued commitment to strengthening its diverse community.

Brampton’s non-profit sector is crucial in addressing the needs of residents. With the 2025 Advance Brampton Fund, the City is focusing on three key areas to create a more vibrant and connected city:

  • Arts and Culture: Initiatives that foster cultural expression and engage residents in the arts.
  • Community Safety: Programs that promote safety, inclusivity, and a sense of belonging for all.
  • Recreation: Recreational programs aimed at enhancing physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

About the Advance Brampton Fund

Launched in 2020, the Advance Brampton Fund is designed to support non-profit development by providing funding to Brampton-based organizations with strong, impactful projects. Since its inception, over $6.1 million has been invested into 559 projects, all working toward improving life in Brampton.
