Mohali: Students from Amity University Punjab’s gym team showcased an outstanding performance at the prestigious “High Performer League,” the tricity’s largest fitness event. The team clinched an impressive haul of 16 Gold medals and 13 Silver medals across various CrossFit and gym-based sport activities, making them the top overall winners.
Their exceptional achievement earned them the first overall prize, accompanied by a cash reward of Rs 51,000.
The event was a star-studded affair, graced by the presence of notable personalities including Mr. Sanjay Tandon, President of the UT Cricket Association, Chandigarh; Mr Sachin Rishi, Bollywood and Pollywood Actor, Director, and Gym Enthusiast; Mr. Rajiv Rishi, Bollywood & Pollywood Actor, Director, and Gym Enthusiast; and Ms. Ashley Kaur, a renowned professional Bhangra dancer. Their presence added immense value to the event, celebrating the spirit of fitness, determination, and sportsmanship.
