Region of Peel – Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau have charged two suspects in connection to a violent gunpoint home invasion that occurred in the city Brampton over two years ago in 2022.
It is alleged that in the early morning hours on November 11, 2022, the victim was at his residence with his wife, parents and four children near Mississauga Road and Sandalwood Parkway, in Brampton.
Four suspects pulled up to the driveway and forced the victim, at gunpoint, into the garage. Demands were made for money and the victim was struck in the head with a firearm. The other three suspects entered the home and confronted the rest of the family making similar demands for money. As the victim attempted to flee the garage, one suspect fired a shot in his direction which fortunately missed. The suspects then fled the area in a stolen vehicle.
The victim and his father who was struck by a suspect with a hammer were both treated for minor injuries.
